1. Halong Bay

4. Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park

Another UNESCO World Heritage Site makes it to this list. This national park is home to the world’s largest cave, Son Doong. A fast-flowing river runs through the cave but you can traverse it easily because of its low depth, as long as it’s not raining. Above ground, you can take a bike ride along the Bong Lai Valley. For the thrill-seekers, visit the Nuoc Mooc Ecotrail. Cross the linked walkways and rope and bamboo bridges whilst you take in the lush surroundings of the forest and springs.

5. Hoi An

The charming Old Quarter (or Old Town) at Hoi An is also listed among UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites and dates back to about 2,000 years. Hoi An is also a famous hub for Vietnam’s textile industry. You can also buy local handicrafts here, making it a perfect place for souvenir shopping. Stop by the Lantern Market for a colourful array of lanterns in different shapes and sizes.

6. Hanoi

The capital city of Vietnam, Hanoi is a bustling metropolis that also offers the picturesque charm of its ancient roots. Visit the Temple of the Jade Mountain by crossing the bright red Morning Sunlight Bridge over Hoan Kiem Lake. Gain deeper insights into Vietnam’s ethnic culture at the Museum of Ethnology. Return to the modern world and enjoy the nightlife scene at the bars in Bia Hoi Junction.

7. Nha Trang

Leave the hustle and bustle of the metropolis for a while. Head towards the beautiful beach resorts of Nha Trang and have your fill of sun, sand, and sea! Go scuba diving into the clear waters and explore the flourishing marine life. Take your family and enjoy the entertainment activities at the VinWonders Amusement Park.

8. Phu Quoc

This is the largest island of Vietnam and a popular seaside destination. Take a swim into the tranquil, turquoise waters and sunbathe on clear, white sand. 10. Danang Golden Bridge

Stretching out at 150m in length, the winding Golden Bridge at the Ba Na Hills in Danang City stands out with its gleaming golden colour and massive hands that seem to hold the bridge aloft. Newly built in 2018, the Golden Bridge has become a popular venue for events and photoshoots. You’ll get a great view of the lush forests surrounding the area.
