What We Do
ASW Consulting is a recruitment agency and headhunting firm in Vietnam and Thailand, focused on identifying and selecting the best talent across South East Asia for our clients. We provide headhunting and recruitment services to a wide variety of companies operating in (or establishing new entities) in Vietnam and Thailand the broader South East Asian region. Consequently, we have established ourselves as a trusted talent acquisition consultancy in Ho Chi Minh and Bangkok.
ASW Consulting is a wholly owned subsidiary of AS White Global which has been operating in the Australian and South East Asian markets since 2011. In September 2023 The Talent Consultants was re-branded to ASW Consulting.

Meet The Leadership Team
Our team is led by executives with extensive knowledge in recruiting across Asia Pacific and South East Asian markets. Our consultants have solid experience recruiting for both Western and local companies, and understand the various intricacies of company cultures, hiring manager preferences, and time pressure to fill roles.
Joe Fussell
Chief Executive
Joe is the CEO of AS White Global and its subsidiary ASW Consulting. Joe has over 30 years’ experience in strategic planning, operations and management across various sectors. For the past 10 years, Joe has built and lead the strategy for AS White Global in South East Asian markets, supporting partners from Australia, the UK and the USA. Joe is MBA qualified from UTS.
Sarah Lourie
Director of Talent
Originally hailing from New Zealand, Sarah is based in Sydney, Australia and is the Director of Talent for ASW Consulting. With over 20 years of experience in HR and recruitment, Sarah has significant experience sourcing, selecting and developing talent across the Asia Pacific & South East Asian regions. Her expertise in talent acquisition spans across agency, internal recruitment and recruitment process outsourcing (RPO) roles. Sarah holds a BCA degree in HRIR and a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, with Distinction.
Brendan Cunningham
Regional Business Development Director
Brendan is the Regional Business Development Director for ASW Consulting. With nearly 25 years of experience working with companies in Thailand and throughout Southeast Asia, Brendan has a sound understanding of the culture and business needs of our clients and candidates in the region. Having held the position of Head of Recruitment Services with a Fortune 500 company in Thailand, his leadership and commercial experience extends beyond the recruitment industry, as he is well-known for successfully running the Australian-Thai Chamber of Commerce in recent times. Importantly for us at ASW, Brendan is a strong culture fit for our organisation and shares the same values that drives our business. Prior to relocating to Bangkok, Thailand in 2000, Brendan graduated from the University of Tasmania with a Degree in Commerce (Marketing Major) and had an early background in Sales and Hospitality.
Cindy Nguyen
Business Development Manager
Cindy is the BDM for ASW Consulting in Saigon, and has an extensive background across both sales and organisational development for both global and local companies. Cindy has worked for the Duxton Hotel, New World Hotel, and Dale Carnegie Vietnam, to name some notable brands. She has a passion for learning and development, also teaching part-time at Hub University. Cindy holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from the Foreign Trade University.
Prechanan Chamanan
Business Development Manager
Prechanan Chamanan has joined the ASW Consulting team in Thailand as a Business Development Manager, bringing with her a rich tapestry of leadership experience with a focus on the IT and Tech industries. With her diverse background as Senior Recruitment Manager, Center Manager, and various pivotal roles in Business Development in Thailand, Prechanan is a dynamic professional with a proven track record of driving success. She holds Bachelor’s Degrees in Design Arts and Fashion Design from Australian institutions, showcasing a well-rounded background that complements her strategic business acumen.
Huong Luu
Recruitment Team Manager
Huong is the Recruitment Manager for ASW Consulting in Vietnam, dedicated to building a high-performing team. With a background in reputable recruitment consultancy and international remote staffing firms, Huong brings extensive experience in niche global recruitment across diverse industries and disciplines. Since joining ASW in 2021, her primary focus has been delivering tailored recruitment solutions and establishing meaningful, long-term partnerships to meet clients’ hiring needs. Huong holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Analysis and Investment, alongside an MBA with distinction, both of which have enriched her ability to offer enhanced support to both clients and candidates at ASW Consulting.
